Bloemfontein: South African batter Juan de Pretorious broke Chris Gayle's record for the highest individual score in T20 cricket by scoring an unbeaten 188 (off 79 balls, including 15 fours and 13 sixes). Gayle had previously set the record for the highest individual score in the short format with an unbeaten 175 during the 2013 IPL.
