Pink ball in day tests too
Dubai: The ICC has announced that the revised rules to make modern cricket more attractive will come into effect from Thursday. As part of this, pink balls, which are used only in day/night tests, can now be used in day tests on an experimental basis. Similarly, if the batter is not ready to face the ball within the stipulated time, the umpires will warn him twice. After that, a penalty of five runs will be imposed for each warning.
