Rs 400 Crore Out of Rs 756 Crore Allocated Solely to Pulivendula
Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav alleged that the previous YCP government, led by former CM Jagan, diverted Rs 756 crore—funds generated through PG medical seats—towards specific projects. He expressed strong displeasure that a staggering Rs 400 crore of this amount was spent exclusively on the Pulivendula Medical College, thereby grossly slighting the other districts. On Saturday, the Minister inaugurated a rest house at the Government General Hospital in Anantapur district headquarters, constructed at a cost of ₹75 lakh using MPLADS funds sanctioned by Anantapur MP Ambica Lakshminarayana.
