70 Government Doctors Dismissed; Action Initiated Against 193 Others
Amaravati: The coalition government has once again cracked the whip on government doctors in the state who failed to discharge their duties properly. The government has dismissed 70 doctors for unauthorized absence from duty. Action is also set to be taken against another 193 doctors for similar conduct, with the relevant proceedings currently at various stages. Officials from the Directorate of Secondary Health (DSH) and the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) submitted a detailed report regarding this list to State Health Minister Satya Kumar at the Velagapudi Secretariat on Friday.
