'22A' Disputes Linked to Fake NOCs!
Hyderabad: The issue of fake No Objection Certificates (NOCs) has further complicated the ongoing disputes regarding the list of prohibited lands (Section 22A) in the state. Lands were placed on the prohibited list because the NOCs previously issued by officials—authorizing their registration—were missing from official records. However, the affected individuals who originally obtained these NOCs are now making repeated rounds to government offices, relying on those very documents. Consequently, officials are at their wits' end, unable to distinguish between genuine and forged NOCs.
