87.49 Lakh Quintals of Seeds Ready
Hyderabad: Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao stated that measures are being taken to prevent a seed shortage in the state and that 87.49 lakh quintals of seeds have been made available for the Kharif season. He mentioned that seeds for alternative crops—such as red gram (pigeon pea), sorghum, maize, and pearl millet—have been stocked in the districts in advance. Minister Tummala explained the government's initiatives during a review meeting on Kharif preparedness conducted by the Chief Minister on Sunday.
