95,285 applications for wines
Telangana: Officials said that 95,285 applications have been received for 2,620 liquor shops in the state. They said that a lucky draw will be held on the 27th of this month. In 2023, 1.31 lakh applications were received, but this time there has been a decrease of about 36 thousand. Officials say that the increase in fee to Rs. 3 lakh and the effect of AP liquor policy are the reasons for the decrease in applications. This time, the government exchequer will receive an income of Rs. 2,858 crore with the applications.
