In his six-decade-long political career, he was renowned for his speeches that blended wit and humor with passionate oratory. He brought about revolutionary changes in the road, air, rail, telecom, and shipping connectivity sectors and became a 'Bharat Ratna'. Today is Vajpayee's birth anniversary.
