A Shiva Lingam that changes colors... Where is it?
The Kalyana Sundareswara Temple in Nallur, Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu, is very ancient. The Shiva Lingam in this temple, built during the Chola period, changes five colors (black, white, red, blue, and green) every day. In this temple, which has a history of 1,000 years, Lord Shiva and Lord Murugan are worshipped. The sanctum sanctorum houses a Shiva Lingam adorned with gold. Another Lingam, where sandalwood paste is applied, is located at the entrance.
