Adishankara Engineering Gets Deemed University Status Says Chairman Vanki Penchalayya
Nellore: The central government has recognized Adisankara Engineering and Technology Institutes as a deemed university, said Vanki Penchalayya, chairman of the institute. Speaking to reporters in Nellore on Friday, he said that Adisankara is the first deemed university in the Rayalaseema region. He said that the Adisankara Group of Institutions was started in 2001 near Gudur (now Tirupati district) and now stands at the top of the engineering colleges with 8,000 students.
