Intercropping is another crop grown between rows of main crops to avoid wasting space. In this system, if one crop is damaged, the other one will flourish. If the weather is favorable, the farmer can get good income from 2 crops. This reduces the investment cost. Insects, pests, weeds, and soil erosion are reduced, and nutrients in the soil are increased. The income generated from intercropping helps in the investment of the main crop.
