Ahmed Babu Must Be Removed
**Amaravati:** Employees of the Commercial Taxes Department are demanding the removal of Ahmed Babu—the State Chief Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (CCST)—alleging that he is behaving in an arrogant and high-handed manner. They are demanding that another senior IAS officer be appointed as the CCST in his place. On Saturday—marking the fourth consecutive day of protests—employees staged a demonstration against Ahmed Babu, raising slogans such as, "Sir, Mr. Babu... we do not want *this* Babu!" Class IV employees across the state continued their protests at offices of the Commercial Taxes Department.
