Ambedkar Bhavan to Become a Knowledge Centre
The government has decided to redevelop the dilapidated Ambedkar Bhavan, located near Tank Bund in Hyderabad, into an 'Ambedkar Knowledge Centre' equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Simultaneously, the student hostel at Babu Jagjivan Ram College in Kachiguda is set to be transformed into a model accommodation complex for underprivileged students arriving in the capital from various districts for higher education. Funds amounting to ₹50 crore have been allocated in the state budget for these two prestigious projects.
