Annamalai Resigns from BJP!
Chennai: Annamalai, the former State President of the BJP in Tamil Nadu, has resigned from the party. On Tuesday, Annamalai met with BJP National President Nitin Nabin and General Secretary B.L. Santhosh in Delhi, where he handed them a five-page resignation letter. It is reported that he intends to launch a new political party within the next 6 to 8 months. Speculation is rife that he is making preparations to establish a regional party with a secular, 'Tamil-First' outlook.
