Another ₹1,750 crore for Amaravati from the World Bank!
Andhra Pradesh: The World Bank will provide ₹1,750 crore as the second tranche for the development of Amaravati. The Municipal Administration Department's Principal Secretary Suresh said that these funds are likely to arrive by December. "We have spent 50% of the ₹1,800 crore released by the World Bank in the first tranche. We will apply for the second tranche after 75% of this is completed," he said. The World Bank and ADB had previously announced that they would provide financial assistance of ₹13,600 crore for Amaravati projects.
