Shenzhen: Star shuttler Lakshya Sen’s disappointing run continues. He made an early exit in the first round of the China Masters badminton tournament. In the opening round held on Wednesday, Lakshya Sen was defeated 14-21, 7-21 by World No. 9 Brian Yang (Canada). In another match, Kidambi Srikanth advanced to the second round by defeating Chi Yu-jen (Taipei) 21-16, 21-15. In the women's singles first round, Tanvi Sharma defeated Amalie Schulz (Denmark) 21-16, 21-17.
