Anantapur: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh stated that Andhra Pradesh is poised to become a protective shield for the nation. He described the state by saying, "AP stands for 'Advanced Pradesh'—a role model for the country." On Friday, accompanied by Chief Minister Chandrababu, he performed the *Bhoomi Puja* (groundbreaking ceremony) for the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) project—being developed by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA)—located near the Puttaparthi Airport in Sri Sathya Sai District. Subsequently, he virtually laid the foundation stones for various defense-related projects and initiatives within the 'Kurnool Drone City' project.
