However, the respective petrol station owners are raising awareness about the precautions to be taken while using this petrol. They warn that ‘Ethanol attracts water rapidly. Care should be taken to ensure that water does not enter the tank during washing and rains. If water gets into the tank, a special layer forms and it becomes difficult for the vehicle to start.’
