In her first tournament after nearly a year—the National Inter-State Athletics Championships—she achieved the qualifying time for the prestigious Asian Games. Jyothi secured a berth for the Asiad by completing the 100m hurdles heat race on Wednesday in just 13.14 seconds. Notably, she clocked a time faster than the 13.34-second qualifying mark set for the event.
