Barse Deva's Surrender
Hyderabad: As the deadline set by the central government approaches, the number of Maoist surrenders is increasing. Recently, 20 Maoists, including key Maoist party leader and People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) chief Barse Sukka alias Deva, Telangana State Committee member Kankanala Rajireddy alias Venkatesh, and his wife, surrendered before DGP Shivadhar Reddy on Saturday. They also handed over 48 state-of-the-art weapons to the police.
