BJP Leaders Arrested in Financial Crimes Case
Anantapur: The Anantapur district police arrested BJP leader Sumathi Surathani and her husband, Vallepu Srinivasulu, on Thursday in connection with a case involving the defrauding of financiers. Cases related to financial crimes have been registered against the couple across several states. Information suggests that cases are pending against them in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Noida, Mumbai, and other regions. The Anantapur Fourth Town Police announced that the couple was arrested in connection with cheque bounce (NI Act) cases.
