A kidnapping case involving a businessman in Odisha has caused a stir. Police have arrested four individuals—including a police sub-inspector and a journalist—in connection with the abduction of Narendra Sahu, a hotelier from Bolangir. Authorities revealed that the accused had conspired to extort ₹50 lakh from the businessman by threatening him. According to the police, on August 14, Narendra Sahu was threatened at gunpoint and taken from Bolangir to Bhubaneswar, where he was subsequently held captive and beaten in a hotel.
