Urea Crisis Hits Farmers at Crucial Time
The country’s breadwinners, the farmers, are facing serious difficulties due to a shortage of urea at a crucial time. The plight of farmers waiting for fertilizer is causing concern. An incident at the Rangampet PACS center in Kolcharam mandal of Medak district highlighted their distress. A farmer, desperate to obtain urea bags, fell at the feet of society staff and pleaded with them to provide at least two bags. The incident reflects the hardships farmers are facing.
