The dates for the Bihar Assembly elections have been announced. Voting will be held in two phases in Bihar, after which the election results will be declared. Furthermore, by-elections have also been announced in seven states across the country. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar held a press conference on Monday to provide information about the Bihar Assembly elections as well as the by-elections in other states. Along with the Bihar Assembly elections, by-elections have also been announced for several seats in Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Jharkhand, Mizoram, Punjab, Telangana, and Rajasthan. By-elections for eight seats in these seven states will be held on November 11th. Following the by-elections, vote counting for all seats will take place simultaneously on November 14th. By-elections will be held for two seats in Jammu and Kashmir, while by-elections will be held for one seat each in the other six states. When is voting for which seat? It should be noted that the by-elections will be held in Budgam and Nagrota in Jammu and Kashmir. In addition, by-elections are scheduled for Anta in Rajasthan, Ghatsila in Jharkhand, Jubilee Hills in Telangana, Tarn Taran in Punjab, Dampa in Mizoram, and Nuapadi in Odisha. Voting for these by-elections will be held simultaneously on November 11th. Furthermore, the results of the by-elections for these eight seats will be announced on November 14th, along with the Bihar election results.
