Chakra Snanam Celebrated Grandly
'Dhvajavarohanam' (lowering of the holy flag), the concluding event of the Tirumala Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams, was performed in accordance with scriptural traditions on Wednesday evening. On Wednesday—the final day of the Srivari Brahmotsavams, which began on the 15th of this month—the *Chakra Snanam* (celestial bath of the holy disc) was conducted in the morning, followed by *Dhvajarohanam* (lowering of the temple flag) in the evening. A *Pallaki Utsavam* (palanquin procession) for the deity was held from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM. Subsequently, *Snapana Tirumanjanam* (celestial bath ritual) was performed until 9:00 AM in the *Mukha Mandapam* (main hall) of the Bhuvaraha Swamy temple for Lord Malayappa Swamy—accompanied by consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi—and for Sudarshana Chakrattalvar.
