Committee formed to probe Ladakh clashes
The local magistrate has ordered an inquiry into the Ladakh clashes. An inquiry committee consisting of four members has been formed. It has been directed to identify the causes of the clashes and those responsible and submit a report within 4 weeks. Four people were killed and dozens of civilians were injured in the violence that took place in Leh on 24th of last month. The police have already arrested environmentalist Wanguchuk for being responsible for these incidents.
