Dalit Christians should be recognized as SCs
Vijayawada: APCC President YS Sharmila has criticized the Supreme Court's verdict that SC status does not apply to Dalit Christians. They criticized the verdict for being more about trying to get the case dismissed than the desire to do justice. A roundtable meeting was held at the local Dasari Bhavan under the auspices of the CPI on Tuesday, demanding that Dalit Christians be recognized as SCs and the Supreme Court's verdict be reviewed.
