Demand to award Bharat Ratna to Nitish Kumar
Demands are growing to award Bharat Ratna to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Union Ministers Jitan Ram Manjhi and Chirag Paswan have publicly expressed their support in this regard. They stated that Nitish's contribution to the development of Bihar over the past two decades makes him eligible for the Bharat Ratna.
