Revanth Starving Handloom Weavers: Kavitha
Hyderabad: Kalvakuntla Kavitha, President of Telangana Jagruthi, has alleged that the Revanth Reddy government is conspiring to plunge the lives of the state's handloom weavers into darkness. In a statement issued on Thursday, she expressed deep distress over the Education Department—which operates under the direct supervision of the Chief Minister—unilaterally cancelling an order for school uniforms that had been placed with handloom weavers. She asserted that this move amounts to snatching the very livelihood away from them.
