Domestic Aircraft Manufacturing in Collaboration with Russia
New Delhi: Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu announced that discussions with Russia regarding aircraft manufacturing in India have been expanded. He spoke to the media in Delhi on Thursday following a meeting with a Russian delegation. It is well known that the public sector undertaking Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Russia regarding aircraft manufacturing in the country. The Turboprop IL-114 and Sukhoi Superjet-100 aircraft are ideally suited for India's regional connectivity scheme.
