Indigenous Boost for Defense!
The Ministry of Defence has approved proposals worth ₹1.10 lakh crore for the three armed forces. The Army is set to procure Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) reconnaissance vehicles, high-mobility vehicles, self-propelled mechanical mine layers, Advanced Light Helicopters, Trawl tanks, and Sarvatra bridge systems. The Defence Acquisition Council, chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, has granted in-principle approval for these procurements.
