Visakhapatnam: One person died in a fire that broke out in the Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express train in Andhra Pradesh. A senior police officer said that the incident of fire in two coaches of the Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express occurred at Yalamanchili, about 66 kilometers from Visakhapatnam. One person died in this accident. One body recovered from B-1 coach The accident reportedly occurred late at night in Yalamanchili. The police officer said that they received information about the fire at 12:45 AM. One of the two coaches of the Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express that caught fire had 82 passengers and the other had 76 passengers. One body has been recovered from the B-1 coach of the train. Smoke started rising from the B-1 AC coach According to the information, the fire was first seen in the B-1 AC coach near the train's pantry car, which spread to the M-2 coach within moments. At the time of this horrific fire in the moving train, one of the affected coaches had 82 passengers and the other coach had 76 passengers. One of the passengers saw smoke rising from the B-1 coach and pulled the chain to stop the train, after which the passengers quickly managed to get out of the affected coaches. Passengers were in deep sleep It is worth noting that the passengers of the train were in deep sleep when the accident occurred. As soon as the fire spread in the train coaches, panic spread among the passengers. Passengers quickly started getting off the train. Fortunately, most of the passengers evacuated the coaches in time. In no time, the entire bogie was engulfed in flames. After extinguishing the fire, both the burnt coaches were separated from the train, and after a delay of about half an hour, the train departed for its destination. After extinguishing the fire, one body was recovered from the B-1 coach of the train. The deceased has been identified as Chandrasekhar (75 years old - a resident of Vijayawada). They were in coach B-1 at the time of the accident and were severely burned in the fire. Railway provides this information: According to the railways, the two affected coaches are being detached, and arrangements are being made to transport the passengers to Samalkot railway station via bus service. A forensic team and a medical team are going to the spot to collect clues to ascertain the cause of the fire and also to determine if there are any casualties.
