Gold is a tough ask: Mary Kom
Veteran star Mary Kom opined that while Indian boxers might win medals at the Commonwealth Games, securing gold would be difficult. Noting that there is a strong possibility of Indian boxers reaching the finals, Mary added that they would face stiffer competition at the Asian Games, which follow the Commonwealth Games. Mary expressed her anguish over the rising politics within the Indian boxing association. She also expressed surprise that champion boxers failed to secure a spot in the Commonwealth squad.
