Good News for Veligonda Project Evacuees
Markapuram: There is good news for the people displaced by the Veligonda project. The government is set to release another ₹300 crore as the second installment of the compensation due to them. State Water Resources Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu announced this, stating that measures are being taken to deposit the funds into the evacuees' accounts this week itself. On Friday, the Minister held a video conference with Veligonda project officials from his camp office in Vijayawada.
