Hyderabad-Bengaluru Highway project worth ₹5,000 crore!
The long-pending expansion of the Hyderabad-Bengaluru National Highway (NH-44) has finally received the green light. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has taken a crucial step regarding this project. It has finalized and submitted an alignment to the Centre to upgrade the existing 176.37 km, four-lane stretch between Hyderabad and Kurnool into a six-lane, partially access-controlled highway. The project will be executed under the 'brownfield' model with an estimated initial cost of ₹5,000 crore.
