Jacobs follows Bolt in 100m race
New Delhi: Former Olympic champion Lamont Marcell Jacobs has emerged as the fastest runner after 'Sprint King' Usain Bolt. The Italian runner completed the 100m race at the Austria Open in 9.67 seconds. In doing so, he became the second-fastest runner after Bolt, who holds the record of 9.58 seconds. However, Jacobs' record is not being officially recognized because the tailwind speed exceeded the permissible limit.
