Land dispute in Gonda: Two sides clashed with sticks, woman injured
Azamgarh: In Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, a father shot his daughter and her boyfriend. The daughter died from the gunshot wounds, while the boyfriend is in critical condition. According to reports, a commotion erupted at a restaurant on the Lalganj bypass in the Devgaon Kotwali area on Friday afternoon when Aditya Singh (20), a resident of Masirpur, arrived with his minor girlfriend, a resident of Pakdi Khurd. Meanwhile, the girl's father, Neeraj Singh, also arrived.
Father flees after shooting
An argument ensued between the father and daughter, and in a fit of rage, the father took out his licensed revolver and shot the daughter and her boyfriend. The accused father fled the scene after the incident.
SP City provided this information
People present at the restaurant immediately rushed them to the Joint 100 Bed Hospital in Lalganj. Due to their critical condition, doctors referred them to Varanasi. The girl died during treatment, while Aditya remains in critical condition. SP City Madhuban Kumar Singh stated that the student's father, Neeraj Singh, carried out the crime with his licensed revolver. The police are currently investigating the matter.
The SP City stated that the girl's mother was talking at the restaurant when her father arrived and an argument ensued. He then shot her. The police have registered a case.
Two groups clashed in Gonda
Meanwhile, in Gonda district, two groups clashed over a land dispute. A woman was seriously injured in the bloody clash. Several other people were also injured. This incident occurred three days ago, on September 24th. A video of this prolonged, bloody clash is now going viral on social media. The police have filed a case in this matter.
