Massive Earthquake Strikes Japan; Tsunami Warnings Issued
A massive earthquake has struck Japan. Officials in the country announced that the tremor registered a magnitude of 7.5 on the Richter scale. Consequently, tsunami warnings have been issued. Authorities stated that sea waves reaching up to 10 feet in height could strike the northern coastal regions. Residents in coastal areas have been warned to remain vigilant. As a precautionary measure, bullet train services in northern Japan have been cancelled.
