A study by Oregon Health Science University has revealed that lack of proper sleep not only causes common health problems but also reduces lifespan. When examining lifestyle habits that affect life expectancy, it was found that sleep plays a crucial role after smoking. It was observed that the lifespan of those who sleep less than 7 hours a day is decreasing. They concluded that sleep has a greater impact than diet and exercise.
