Office Leasing Booms in Hyderabad
Hyderabad continues to set records, this time in the leasing of office spaces. Between January and March of this year, a record-breaking 3.15 million square feet (sq. ft.) of office space was leased. Real estate consultancy firm Cushman & Wakefield noted in a report that this figure represents 14 percent of the 22 million sq. ft. of office leasing agreements executed nationwide during this period. Compared to the January-March quarter of the previous year, the leased area for office buildings in Hyderabad has surged by 21.6 percent.
