New Delhi: Olympian Ankita Dhyan has made a name for herself on the international stage with a medal. Ankita won gold in the women's 2000m steeplechase at the Grand Slam Athletics Meet held in Jerusalem, Israel. In the finals, Ankita crossed the finish line in 6 minutes 12.92 seconds and emerged victorious. In this, Ankita broke the national record of 6 minutes 14.38 seconds previously set by Parul Chaudhary for India.
