New Delhi: The prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award has been conferred upon Anant Nag, a renowned Kannada film actor who has left an indelible mark through diverse roles over a cinematic career spanning more than five decades. He has been conferred the prestigious Phalke Award in recognition of his remarkable cinematic journey and his contributions to the Indian film industry. The Central Government announced the award for the year 2024 on Wednesday, based on the recommendation of the award committee.
