Health experts advise brushing twice daily to maintain dental health. They offer the following suggestions: "One should use a toothbrush with soft bristles; using hard bristles can erode the enamel layer on the teeth. Brush all areas of the mouth for at least two minutes. Remember to clean your tongue as well. If you wish to brush after a meal, do not do so immediately; wait 30 to 60 minutes before brushing. Furthermore, replace your toothbrush once every three months."
