Rahul Lashes Out Over Gas Shortage
Rahul Gandhi has lashed out at the Central Government over the prevailing shortage of cooking gas. He alleged that the Modi government is handling the current gas crisis with the same level of apathy and neglect with which it treated the nation during the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic. He further accused the government of confining its efforts solely to issuing advertisements while pushing the poor into severe hardship. He stated that for daily wage earners earning ₹500–800, cooking gas has become prohibitively expensive and out of reach. As a result, workers are leaving the cities and returning to their villages, causing losses to industries.
