Rangasamy Sworn in as Puducherry CM
N. Rangasamy, founder of the AINRC party, has assumed office as the Chief Minister of Puducherry for the fifth time. On Wednesday, Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan administered the oath of office to him, as well as to two cabinet ministers belonging to the NDA alliance. Among those sworn in as ministers were Yanam MLA Malladi Krishna Rao and BJP MLA A. Namassivayam. Malladi Krishna Rao took his oath in Telugu. BJP National President Nitin Nabin, along with other senior leaders, attended the ceremony.
