Rice in rations.. reduced rates!
Telangana: It seems that the prices of rice in the market have come down with the free distribution of rice being implemented by the government. The poor and middle class have significantly reduced their purchases of rice for the last 3-4 months. Market sources say that the prices have also come down due to lack of demand. It is estimated that the price has come down by up to Rs. 1,000 per quintal. Earlier, a quintal bag of rice cost Rs. 5-6,000, but now it has come down to Rs. 4-5,000.
