Mumbai: Public sector banking giant SBI’s financial results have surpassed market expectations. For the first quarter (Q1) ending in June of the current financial year (2026-27), SBI’s consolidated net profit surged by 13.73% year-on-year to ₹24,113 crore. This growth was driven by a rise in interest income and a reduction in provisions. The bank’s standalone profit for Q1 stood at ₹21,121.22 crore.
