Sensational statement by Maoists.. Letter stating that they will lay down their weapons
The Maoists have written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, saying that they will lay down their arms if Operation Kagar is stopped immediately and encounters are stopped. This statement was released by CPI Maoist spokesperson Abhay. It is known that Amit Shah has set a deadline of March 2026 to not allow Maoists to remain on Indian soil. Analysts say this is a major victory for the security forces.
