Severe cyclonic circulation strengthens into a cyclone.. Very heavy rains
APSDMA said that a severe cyclonic circulation has strengthened into a cyclone in the southwest and west-central Bay of Bengal. It is currently centered 640kms from Chennai, 740kms from Visakhapatnam, and 710kms from Kakinada. It is expected to turn into a severe storm tomorrow morning and cross the coast by night. Today, Kakinada, Konaseema, Pa.Go, Krishna, Bapatla, Prakasam and Nellore districts will receive heavy to very heavy rains.
