'Southwest' to Reach Andaman on the 16th
Visakhapatnam: The low-pressure area that formed in the Southwest Bay of Bengal two days ago intensified further on Wednesday, evolving into a deep depression that is currently persisting in the West-Central Bay of Bengal. Furthermore, citing strong winds blowing across the Indian Ocean, the Meteorological Department has stated that the Southwest Monsoons are expected to advance into the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and the Southern Bay of Bengal on the 16th.
